Despite the frequency of the term ‘implementation’ in people’s job titles, there are very few people who are formally trained in Implementation Science. There is a considerable cost saving that can be made, in healthcare, if the implementation of projects was done more efficiently, and this can only be achieved by teams who have the skills of implementation, underpinned by scientific methodology.
